Local charity names McAuliffe first ‘platinum’ business partner

As a platinum member, McAuliffe will work even more closely with the charity, helping it reach important fundraising targets for 2022. McAuliffe is already lead sponsor of the Compton’s Memory Walk, set to take place on 18th September, and has been busy raising funds at its Wolverhampton HQ.

The charity provides free care and support for people living with incurable conditions, both at its dedicated site in Wolverhampton and in patients’ own homes throughout east Shropshire, Wolverhampton, the Black Country, and South Staffordshire.

John McAuliffe, Group Managing Director at McAuliffe Group, said:

“We’ve been impressed by the team and facilities at Compton Care, and the incredible support they provide to the community.

“We hope that as a platinum business partner and main sponsor of this month’s Memory Walk we can help Compton achieve vital fundraising goals, and support even more local people in 2022.”

Lee Newman, Head of Fundraising at Compton Care, said:

“We are very grateful to McAuliffe for choosing us as their charity partner – as a local charity it’s fantastic for us to have the support of businesses in the area. We’re so pleased that McAuliffe are also sponsoring our Memory Walk later this month, which is set to be a wonderful day at Chillington Hall.”
