McAuliffe’s charitable and community arm, the McAuliffe Foundation, has teamed up with client, Countryside Properties, to donate £1,000 to St Barnabas Church in Crewe.

Part of its local community for over 135 years, St Barnabas sits next to McAuliffe’s Bombardier Transportation site, where our team is carrying out remediation and earthworks for Countryside Properties, ready for 300 new homes to be created.

The church has been struggling with the costs of upkeep, with collection money been down during the pandemic.

Anna Maria McAuliffe, head of The McAuliffe Foundation, said: “Community hubs are so important to an area, and we’re glad we were able to give St Barnabas a helping hand at a tricky time.

“We’ve almost finished our works on the site, and Countryside is well underway with creating brand new homes for local people.”
