McAuliffe makes senior operations hire

A qualified land surveyor and civil engineer, Derek has over 34 years’ experience across a broad mix of remediation and civil engineering disciplines, including roads and highways, deep drainage, earthworks, and stabilisation. 

Derek has played a central role in the delivery of multiple multi-million-pound infrastructure schemes. His project experience ranges from managing a £5m groundworks contract for a £90m town centre development in Wrexham, to overseeing construction of a 9.5m-high acoustic bund at Coventry’s Paragon Park.

As part of the McAuliffe contracts management team, Derek will oversee a variety of remediation and enabling works projects across the Midlands.
