Long Service Awards: celebrating decades of dedication

09 Oct 2025

Plenty of proud moments this summer, as our directors toured sites and offices to present Long Service Awards. This year, eight employees were celebrated for their dedication to the business, having racked up a combined 110 years of service between them.

As part of their award, our long servers were gifted vouchers and extra annual leave.

The longest serving employee is our Head of Maintenance, John Lovell, who has put in an incredible 30 years of service, keeping the McAuliffe fleet of plant and trucks in peak condition.

And he’s not the only one who’s contributed a decade or more to the business, this year’s award recipients include:

  • Andy Homer, HGV driver: 20 years
  • Andy Gasse, Associate Health & Safety Director: 10 years
  • Andrij Dubil, Plant Operator: 10 years
  • Ian Simcox, Plant Operator: 10 years
  • Stuart Hickman, Business Development Manager: 10 years
  • James Cartwright, Group Project Director: 10 years
  • Lucy Martinez, Client Relationship Manager: 10 years

John McAuliffe, Group CEO at McAuliffe Group, said: “It makes me proud that McAuliffe is somewhere people have chosen to work for over a decade.

“These are dedicated people who are skilled at what they do, and that shows in the quality of our work on projects.

“Congratulations to everyone who received an award – it’s well deserved.”
