Environmental Protection UK Divisional Meeting

Following attendance at the recent Environmental Protection UK - Land Quality Update - in Birmingham, the McAuliffe Group was kindly invited to the EPUK West Midlands regional meeting to provide a contractors perspective into some of the most prevelant subjects in the industry to date.

John McAuliffe, managing director at McAuliffe, gave an insightful presentation into the real life workings of the Definition of Waste: Development Industry Code of Practice and how McAuliffe has been able to assist its clients in its usage promoting a cultural change within the industry.

Karen Thornton, EPUK West Midlands divisional secretary and Specialist Environmental Engineer at the NHBC said,

"The McAuliffe Group is an established and highly regarded environmental & regeneration contractor in this region and the divisional members were extremely grateful for John McAuliffe's invaluable and honest insight on how the code of practice has enabled more sustainable operations and effective means for dealing with Brownfield regeneration.  It was clear from the presentation that the McAuliffe Group takes regulatory expectations seriously and is continually striving for improvement in their standard of professional practice."
