McAuliffe Appoints Richard Quinn
McAuliffe is pleased to announce the appointment of Richard Quinn as its new Remediation Director.
Richard joins McAuliffe as a qualified environmental professional with over twenty years experience in the contaminated land industry having worked in both consultancy and contracting.
His appointment is part of the group’s continued plan to strengthen its position as the leading brownfield contractor in the midlands and north west, by enhancing its in-house remediation capabilities as well as increasing its geographical coverage.
Richard has a wealth of experience in the remediation of contaminated sites including chemical works, transport depots and numerous former gasworks sites as part of the National Grid Property Holdings Framework Contract with projects ranging in value from £60k to £10m. Richard was also heavily involved in the early stages of the remediation of the northern half of the 2012 Olympic Park site.
More recently Richard has been working in the process engineering sector of soil and groundwater remediation and has an excellent working knowledge of the application of various in-situ technologies including High Vacuum Extraction, Soil Vapour Extraction, Multi-Phase Extraction, Pump & Treat and Free Product Recovery.
Having joined McAuliffe in 2011, Richard will be instrumental in advising clients of innovative remediation solutions involving combinations of civil engineering and process based technologies. Richard will also take on the mantle of launching McAuliffe's new venture with Geostream S.l.r for the supply and rental of specialist equipment for the in situ treatment of soils and groundwater.
