McAuliffe Foundation continues to support local Wolverhampton RUFC

McAuliffe is proudly supporting Wolverhampton Rugby Club for yet another season, reinforcing our partnership with a club that’s at the heart of the Wolverhampton community, getting both adults and children moving more.

With teams ranging from U6 to the first XV, men’s veterans and women’s junior and first teams, Wolverhampton RUFC has some big plans for the 2024-25 season, continuing the club’s successes during 2023-24 under the steer of Craig Smallman and Jennifer McIntosh.

As the club grows in membership, drawing new players to the game from the local area, Wolverhampton RUFC has made great strides in achieving its ambitions, including:

• A new school outreach programme operating across 6 schools, bringing the rugby club to local schools and sports centres
• Creation of a new girl’s section, currently with 20+ girls aged 12 to 18 signed up.
• Continued growth of mini and junior sections now exceeding 200 children each week (this includes hot meals supplied to both home and away teams every Sunday)
• A thriving ladies team, competing week after week with great numbers
• A great community team that plays for fun and exercise
